Jamaica Ocean Retreat (Villa De Sonja) is owned by two sisters, Sonja and Maria. They are medical professionals who served in the military for a combined total of 47 years. They value faith, family, trust, kindness, service, and citizenship — and they are passionate about travel, culture, and sharing their love of Jamaica with visitors.

Sonja enjoys all things "Water sports" and Maria enjoys all things "Theater and Music". Maria's favorite past time includes reading, quiet solace, and listening to reggae music. In 2019, they invested in a vacation home on the most beautiful island they had ever seen. They are now welcoming visitors from all over the world to experience Jamaica Island culture, that is truly amazing and one of kind!
